Assuming that the world returns to some sort of version of normal by November after Coronavirus pandemic Lights And Lines are thrilled to be presenting for the 4th year Off The Record - Independent Music Festival. An independent music festival celebrating Brighton's vibrant, alternative music scene with the city's best independent bands. Following on from the success of running 2 stages for the first time last year with over 20 acts playing across the day we are collaborating with our good friends at The Premium Blend Radio Show again this year for more of the same! This is the application page for the The Premium Blend Radio Show Stage (Cellar Bar). We’re looking for bands from almost any genre that do something new, interesting and exciting! It could be alt-rock, blues, grunge, rock, trip-hop, or anything - as long as you put on a great live show we want to hear from you! (We should caveat that unfortunately there’s a noise restriction so we struggle with metal bands on this show, even though we love metal). OTR is a DIY show which means that everyone gets an even split of ticket sales and everyone is expected to pitch in and promote the show. No pay to play or anything like that, we're just looking for bands who have an amazing live show, a brilliant attitude, and a Brighton fanbase. If this is you please apply! Venue: The Brunswick - Brighton and Hove's Premier Live Music and Arts Venue Run times: 1pm - late (bands must be available all day) NB if world doesn't return to 'normal' by November we will postpone the gig, applications will still be valid for revised date.
